Challenge
Purina had a new line of nutritional dog and cat products they needed pet lovers to explore in the Jamaican diaspora. The Cari-Med marketing team decided they needed a promotional micro-site to attract more customers and boost sales for products.
To kick things off, I analyzed the global Purina brand to gather insight on how to approach their information architecture, imagery, and overall design decisions. After that, I had to define the user stories: for a person who lovers dogs and for a person lovers cats.
Initially, the client provided us with the sitemap and content, so wireframe designs were immediately done to get a graphic representation of the layout, its essential elements and pages.
As the primary goal was to design clean and professional pages showcasing Purina Jamaica promotions, including the homepage, promotions and pet care page, the next phase was to designed them first. I utilized the Purina global brand guidelines as a base to create a consistent design system.
At the end, an impressive branding micro-site for Purina Jamaica was created to help the company marry its goal with their new products to deliver the ultimate experience to their target audience.
